Four Trees: Four Spirits

This tape is definitely not your average pathworking cassette. It is a recording
of four pieces of music, each inspired by the spirit of a type of tree: Yew.
Elm, Oak and Holly. It all sounds delightful, doesn't it? Well, there's something
of a surprise waiting here for those who might expect a gentle journey.
I love this tape, but it's not background music. It's sole purpose in life is
to take you on a mystical journey to the heart of the woods. Not green woods
full of hoping rabbits and gentle running streams, no these are dark woods,
woods of old, when the trees outnumbered humans, and we held the trees with
a mixture of both wonder and fear. The first track, Yew, begin with deep sounds,
interspersed with reversed sampled voices. This is more like the soundtrack
to a really great scary movie - none-the-less it's wonderful for a Shamanic
night in.... If your idea of pathworking music is Medwyn Goodall, Mike Oldfield
or a Gregorian Chant then you might find this a little too deep. However, if
you are willing to journey into the heart of the wildwood, then get this tape,
it's really cool!
