It was weird reviewing this book as I have known the author for about 5 years!
I thoroughly enjoyed it, I liked the poems, the musings and especially the workings.
It was like talking to a friend over the phone. It is an easy read and holds
gems of advice, as well as good stories and pathworkings, which you can adapt
to suit yourself. The most interesting piece for me was the Vampire Friend,
it is only when you read about something like that does the penny drop and all
becomes clear - food for thought indeed! Her accounts of the Newbury bypass
were interesting, as I recall my husband going very nervously to a ritual to
save Middle Oak. It was the first time he had publicly (if you believe that!)
protested against something. I remember the strength of his return and the vibe
he brought back, Julia's phone call saying they would go around the tree...
personal memories and a cracking book - like slippers, nice and comfy!
