Celtic Faery Shamanism

The first thing I thought when I received this book was 'What a dreadful title!". But when I started to read the book I was pleasantly surprised. It is impossible to categorise this book, and to give it another name would have been very difficult. It's not a 'how to do' book, nor is it a historical book. It's almost like a personal diary that a complete stranger has given you and said, "Hey, read this, you might find it interesting". The contents page simply lists Chapters 1 to 9 which gives nothing away to the person who might casually pick this up in a book shop. Celtic Faery Shamanism is the personal thoughts of someone who has been raised within an hereditary magical family. Whose every move in life seems to have stemmed from this hereditary core. I did, however, have trouble following her train of thought. One paragraph might be two pages long, and that's an awful lot to assimilate. However, don't let the title put you off. This book is well worth reading, as I'm sure the sequel will be in a few months time.
